PETER LOMBARDI III
Peter Lombardi III, 50, of Johnston, passed away Sunday, November 9, 2008 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital in North Providence.
Born in Providence, he was the son of Peter Lombardi, Jr. of Johnston and the late Louise (Thomas) Nardo, and was the step-son of Susan Lombardi. Mr. Lombardi was a master pipefitter and master refrigeration technician working with his father at Hy-Test Oil Co. until the company was sold, and later working in electric power plants all over New England until illness forced him to retire. He was a member of the K of C Hope Council # 398.
Besides his father and step-mother, he was the devoted and loving father of Lauren and Joshua Lombardi. Peter was the former husband of Michele Lombardi. He was the brother of Lisa Lombardi, and step-brother of Daniel Ugarte, and Michael Capobianco.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday at 10 a.m. in St. Robert Bellarmine Church, Johnston, and may call at the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Thursday 4-8 p.m.
Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
