Peter M. D'Ambrosco, III

a devoted family man and esteemed professional in the jewelry industry, passed away in the presence of his loving sons on November 20, 2024. Born on October 15, 1950, in Providence, RI, Peter influenced the lives of many throughout his life, both personally and professionally. 

Peter dedicated many years of his career to the jewelry industry, culminating in the establishment of his own jewelry specification business, PMD Promotional Products. At the time of his passing, he was actively engaged in the daily operations of his companies, PMD Consulting and Grazia Co. His commitment to his profession was evident, and he thrived on helping others achieve their goals.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Peter was engaged in serving his community, at various time coaching soccer, basketball, and baseball. An avid sports fan, he held a particular affection for the New England Patriots, Boston Celtics, and Boston Red Sox, sharing his enthusiasm with family and friends alike. Peter's absence in the community will be missed during the holidays, where he dedicated himself to make sure no one was forgotten.

Peter graduated from Bay View and LaSalle Academy, and obtained his Bachelor’s Degrees from Providence College. He valued education and encouraged those around him to pursue their passions wholeheartedly.

Peter is survived by his two sons, Brian P. D'Ambrosco of Framingham, MA, and Kevin W. D'Ambrosco of Westerly, RI. He also leaves behind a close-knit group of cousins, including Raymond Capobianco, Maria Kohanski, Christine Torrealday, his beloved nephew Ryan Torrealday, Barbara Aronne, Anthony Capobianco, Kathleen Carla Volpe, and Ann McKay. These relationships were cherished as, together, the cousins shared many joyful moments throughout their lives.

He was predeceased by his father, Peter M. D’Ambrosco Jr, and his mother, Grace (Capobianco) D'Ambrosco, both of whom played significant roles in his life, instilling in him the values of family and hard work.

After losing his parents at a young age, Peter’s Uncle Angelo Volpe, Aunt Angie (Capobianco) Volpe, Uncle George Lima, and Aunt Connie (Capobianco) Lima took him in and raised him as their own. Peter grew up surrounded by his devoted extended family. 

 His funeral will be held Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at 10am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory – SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 1111 Boston Neck Road, (Rt. 1A), Narragansett followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am in St. Veronica Chapel, 1035 Boston Neck Road, Narragansett.Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.VISITATION Tuesday morning from 9-10am.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the RI Community Food Bank, 200 Niantic Avenue, Providence, RI 02908 or to https://secure.childrenshospital.org/site/TR/ToyDrive/General?px=3042926&pg=personal&fr_id=2520.
