Perry A. "Sonny" Caparco

82, of Cranston passed away on January 3, 2021, at his home in Cranston.  Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Michael and Angela (Zoglio) Caparco, and Dora Caparco. He was a graduate of Bryant College where he majored in accounting. He went on to work at Warren Oil as a controller and later for his brother Michael at Capco Steel.  He was the husband of Marilyn (Coupe) Caparco and devoted father of Amy Caparco, Zachary Caparco and the late Perry Caparco, Jr. He will be remembered for his larger-than-life infectious personality, his quick wit, kind heart and willingness to help others. He was usually found holding court at Dunkin Donuts or the baseball field and was a loyal Red Sox and Patriots fan. He also leaves his brother Michael Caparco (wife Patricia), and his sisters, Cathy Lombardo, June Santopadre and Judy Firlick along with several nieces and nephews and his beloved pets.

Although he would have preferred a large celebration of his life, with “I did it my way” playing in the background, due to Covid 19 restrictions, his funeral services will be private.  Memorial contributions in his name may be made to: HopeHealth Hospice RI, 1085 N Main Street, Providence, RI 02904.
