Pearl F. (Tessitore) Blankenship 87, of Oak Hill Road, North Kingstown, formerly of Warwick, died Sunday, September 7, 2008 at South County Nursing Home, North Kingstown. She was the wife of the late Raymond Blankenship. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Constantino and Antonette (Pizzolla) Tessitore. Mrs. Blankenship was employed in the jewelry industry for twenty years and was also a hairdresser for twenty years before retiring in 1985. She is survived by her son Randall Blankenship and his wife Sandra of North Kingstown. Mrs. Blankenship was the grandmother of Jason and Mandy Blankenship, Michael and Stephanie Booth and the great-grandmother of four. She was the sister of the late Clara Marcella-Aquilante, Constantino Tessitore, Tecla Malouin, Rose Domenicone and Louis Tessitore. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 596 Jefferson Blvd., Warwick.
