86, passed away peacefully June 2 in Lakeland, FL where she has resided for the last 20 years. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Gaetano and Anna (Iavarone) DellaVentura. Pauline grew up in the Federal Hill neighborhood and later moved to Cranston when she married the love of her life Theodore “Ted” Fabrizio. Pauline was a devout Catholic who spent decades as a parishioner at the Immaculate Conception Church, from which she traveled with the choir to Italy to sing at the Vatican for the Pope. Upon moving to Florida, she was an active member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Lakeland, continuing as a choir member at that parish. She was requested to sing at many funerals there. She was the class valedictorian at St Xavier Academy in Providence. She worked side by side with her husband in their family cleaning business.
In addition to her husband of 65 years, Mrs. Fabrizio is survived by her two loving children, Lynne Mariathasan and her husband Elmo of Sri Lanka, and Theodore “Jay” Fabrizio and his wife Tricia of North Providence. She was also the proud grandmother of Emily and Nancy Fabrizio. Pauline is also predeceased by her sister Joan (DellaVentura) Petisce, and survived by her brothers Anthony DellaVentura, his wife Rose Marie of North Carolina and John DellaVentura of North Providence as well as many nieces and nephews.
Pauline was an avid reader, movie, sports and TV fan. Her favorite pastimes were watching the Red Sox and Patriots, as well as Romance Movies. Her favorite TV shows were Blue Bloods, Gunsmoke, In The Heat of the Night, Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy.

Her funeral will be held on Saturday, June 12th, at 9:00 a.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, followed by her Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in Immaculate Conception, Cranston. Visiting hours will be held on Friday from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
