Paula M. (Calabrese) Perentin

71, passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2023. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Pasquale and Marianna (Cicilline) Calabrese. Paula worked as an administrative assistant for Memorial Hospital.

She is survived by her loving sons, Paul, and his wife Rebecca, Jan, and his wife Rachael; cherished grandchildren, Isabella and Daniel Perentin. Paula is predeceased by her sisters Shirley and Faith Ann.

Paula grew up in the Silver Lake neighborhood of Providence. Paula was a skilled quilter and loved planting flowers in her garden. She loved and took care of many animals in her lifetime, especially cats. Paula was faithful to her New England sports teams and never missed a Red Sox game. Paula considered herself a flower child and treated everyone with kindness and respect. She instilled these values in her sons and taught them the importance of family, honor, and loyalty. Above all, Paula loved her family, sisters, sons, and grandchildren, and cherished their traditions and Italian heritage.

Her funeral service will be held in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Tuesday at 7:00 pm. Visiting hours will precede her service from 5:00 - 7:00 pm.
