Paul E Pursche, Jr

76, of Johnston passed away surrounded by his family, on Friday, September 30, 2022. He was the husband of the late Ann Marie (DeMelo) Pursche. Born in Providence,  he was the son of the late Paul E Pursche , Sr. and the late Josephine (Ruggieri) Pursche. Paul was a supervisor at National Grid for many years until his retirement. He enjoyed golfing, spending time with family, watching sports and gardening.

He was the proud father of three sons: Paul Pursche and his wife Patricia of West Warwick, David Pursche and his wife Stacy of Johnston and Stephen Pursche and his wife Natarcia of West Warwick. He was the loving companion of Dorothy Butmarc.

Paul was the fun and caring Papa to Leah and Noah Pursche , Grandpa to Danielle Burns and Seth Perry, and Big Paully to Jordan and Devan Scarduzio, and Great Grandpa Paul to Russell Burns III.

He was the brother of Cheryl (Pursche) Gallo of Cranston, and brother in law of the late Anthony Gallo, and brother of Patricia Ballard and her husband Richard of Millville. Paul is also survived by many wonderful nieces and nephews. He was the brother in law of Marge (Demelo) Darragh of Tamarac, Florida  and the late Wayne Darragh.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday morning from 9 AM to 10 AM in the Nardolillo Funeral Home & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave. , Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM in Saint Mary’s Church, Cranston. Burial will take place in Saint Ann’s Cemetery, Cranston.
