PAUL L. PICOZZI

51, of Wakefield, passed away on Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at Kent County Hospital, Warwick. He was the beloved husband of Claudia D. (D'Alessandro) Picozzi. They were married for twenty-one years. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Domenic and Evelyn C. (Ricci) Picozzi, Jr. Mr. Picozzi was the general manager of Barber's Auto Sales and Body Works of West Warwick and the former Norwood Motor Group for thirty-three years. He was a member of the Rhode Island Body Shop Association. Paul was a graduate of LaSalle Academy class of 1977, where he played on the football team. Besides his wife he is survived by his loving children, Bianca M. Picozzi, Anthony D. D'Alessandro, Matthew R. D'Alessandro, Joseph P. Picozzi, Philip V. Picozzi, and Julianna L. Picozzi, all of Wakefield. He was the brother of Paula A. DiLeonardo of West Greenwich and Lynne M. Belleville of Coventry. Paul was the nephew of Thomas and Elaine Ricci of East Greenwich, Albert and Jean Picozzi of Cranston and Michele Picozzi of MA. Paul is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Monday at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, Cranston Street, Cranston. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston.
