PAUL KAZARIAN

October 14, 1923 — February 27, 2012

PAUL KAZARIAN

88, of Cranston, passed away on Monday, February 27, 2012 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Constance "Connie" (DeCesaris) Kazarian. Born in Pawtucket, the son of the late Charles and Agnes (Malian) Kazarian, he moved to Cranston in 1988.

Mr. Kazarian was the Ambassador to the Charles and Agnes Kazarian Foundation; the former co-owner with his brothers of City Oil Co. in Pawtucket; President of Karan Corp. Realty Co.; and was Past Chairman of Model Cities Physical Planning Committee in Pawtucket serving from 1969-1971. He was a Merchant Marine during WW-II; a member of American Legion Auburn Post #20; 32nd degree mason E.L. Freeman Lodge #41; member of Scottish Rite Valley of Providence; and a member of Sts. Sahag & Mesrob Armenian Apostolic Church.

One of Mr. Kazarian's greatest pleasures was watching and hearing about his grandchildren's activities and their sporting events.

Besides his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Alexandria Kazarian-Martinez and her husband Santos and one son, Paul B. Kazarian and his wife Harriet; five grandchildren, Kristina, Paul, Ani, Sema and Charlie; two step-children, Gina M. DeMarco and Alan A. Iannelli and six step-grandchildren, Alan Jr., Alli, Michael, Brendon, Anthony and Nicholas. He was the brother of the late George Kazarian, Martin "Jerry" Kazarian, Alice Kazarian and Beatrice Krekorian-Ashodian.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Friday at 8:45 a.m., followed by a Funeral Service in Sts. Sahag & Mesrob Armenian Apostolic Church, Providence at 10 a.m. Interment with military honors will be at Swan Point Cemetery in Providence. VISITING HOURS are Thursday from 4-8 p.m.
