65, of Cranston, passed away on Friday, April 20, 2018 at Kent Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Evelyn (Long) Ferrara. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Peter A. and Evelyn V. (Amato) Ferrara, Sr.
Paul worked as a Quality Engineer for Pentair, Inc. for many years before retiring. In his free time he enjoyed bowling and reading books. He was also an avid New York Yankees fan.
Besides his wife Evelyn, he is survived by his loving son, Eric P. Ferrara of Rumford; dear brothers, Peter A. Ferrara, Jr. and his wife Sheila Phelan-Ferrara of North Kingstown, Ronald A. Ferrara of Cranston, Richard S. Ferrara and his wife Kathleen Sullivan of Merrimac, MA; sisters-in-law Diane R. Degrandpre and her husband Richard Degrandpre of Cranston, and Nancy A. Long of Chicago, IL; dear nephews and nieces, Glenn and his wife Jessica, Marianne and her husband Zachary, Steven, Elizabeth, Matthew, Daniel, Jarrod and Isaiah; and his great niece Aubrey.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Thursday at 10:00 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in Immaculate Conception Church, Cranston. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS will be held on THURSDAY MORNING from 9:00 – 10:00 am.
