Paul J. Cataldo, Sr.

80, of Providence, passed away April 13, 2023surrounded by his family. He was the beloved husband of the late Claire ( D’Alessandro) Cataldo for 40 years. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Argante and Sabatina (Paolisi) Cataldo.  Mr. Cataldo owned and operated Cataldo’s Auto Body shop for 35 years, at age 54 he retired from auto body work and started Paul’s lawn care landscaping service and worked until age 75.

He is survived by his loving children: Paul J. Cataldo, Jr and his wife Rhonda of Warwick, Joseph A. Cataldo and his wife Cara of Cranston and Michael J. Cataldo and his wife Marie of Warwick; his dear brother: Perry Cataldo of NH and was also the cherished grandfather of 9.

His visitation will be held on Wednesday from 9-11 am followed by words of remembrance at 11am in the funeral home.  Burial will take place in St. Ann’s Cemetery, Cranston.
