Patricia (Testa) Barnes

85, of Cranston, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 3, 2024 at her home.  She was the beloved wife of the late Walter C. Barnes.  Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late James and Filomena (Tomao) Testa.

She was the devoted aunt of Jesse P. Gomez, David Gomez and his wife Marisa, and Patricia Gomez; great aunt of Bianca, Catarina, Joseph, and David; and dear sister of the late Marcia Ann Gomez.

Patricia worked for the Providence School Department and Catholic Cemeteries as a Secretary for many years before retiring.  She loved to travel and have outings with her lifelong friends the “Golden Girls”, Anna Spadetti, Elaine McNanna, and the late Judy Umbriano.

Visiting Hours are Friday morning, June 7th in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston from 9:30 a.m. to 11a.m., followed by a Funeral Service at 11 a.m., all to which relatives and friends are invited.   Burial will be private.
