50, of Lincoln, RI, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 2, 2013, at the Lakes Region General Hospital, Laconia, NH. She was the beloved wife of eleven years to Manuel D. DaSilva. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of Robert A. and Dorothea M. (Sullivan) Silvestre of Lincoln, RI. She was a Professor of Computer Science at New England Tech for twenty years and also taught at CCRI. She was a graduate of Classical High School, Class of 1981; URI, Class of 1985; and Bryant University in 1987. Patty was a member and served as a past president of Alpha Delta Pi Sorority, URI Chapter. Besides her husband and parents, she is survived by her loving children Manuel D. DaSilva, Jr., and Nikolas J. DaSilva, both of Lincoln, RI. She was the cherished sister of Lee A. Silvestre of Portsmouth. Patty was the daughter-in-law of Mary DaSilva of Bristol, and the late Joseph DaSilva. She is also survived by her cousin and dear friend Robin Notarianni of Cranston, and her devoted aunt Jean Saccoccia of Cranston. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Monday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, 1525 Cranston Street, Cranston.
