PATRICIA A. (ALLARD) PRIOR

67, of Johnston, died Thursday, March 11, 2010 at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. She was the beloved wife of John P. Prior, Sr.; they were married for forty-six years. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Evelyn (Crispi) Allard. Mrs. Prior was a claims supervisor at FM Global Inc. formerly Allendale Insurance for twenty-five years before retiring in 1998. Patricia was an avid collector of bells and a writer of poetry. She enjoyed playing card games and creating memories for her grandchildren. Besides her husband she is survived by her loving children; Lisa M. Rodenbaugh and her husband Keith of Zephyrhills, FL, John P. Prior, Jr. of Cranston, James R. Prior and his wife Joyce of Zephyrhills, FL. Patricia was the grandmother of Tara, Jamie and Gary Harrison, and Shayna Prior, and the great-grandmother of Corey Raposo, Landon and Khaila Harrison and Josuan Vargas. She was the sister of Arthur Allard of Branson, MO and Anita Williams of Myrtle Beach, SC. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Thursday at 8:15 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. Robert Bellarmine Church, Atwood Avenue, Johnston. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston.
