Patricia Ann (Lavallee) Bucci

83, of Coventry, RI, was born to parents Albert and Ann Lavallee in Providence RI. She passed away on December 23, 2024, at home, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Alfred Bucci for 62 years. 

Mom to son Michael and his wife Kim, Nana to granddaughters Madeline Bucci, Julia Stauffer her husband Dustin, and Annabelle Bucci. Mom to daughter Christine Badessa and her husband Paul Badessa, Nana to grandson Alex Bucci, his wife Courtney, and great-grandson Elijah, and grandson Daniel Bottella. Patricia “Pat or Patsy” was the oldest of five siblings, sister Alma Egan, brothers Albert Lavallee and Joseph Lavallee, and the late Maureen Alessandrini. 

Patricia grew up in Providence, RI, graduated from St. Patrick’s High School and Bryant University. She worked at the WPRO radio station, stayed home to raise her family, and then worked for the Warwick School Department, where she enjoyed kindergarten students for 30 years. 

Patricia devoted her life to her family and friends. She and Al spent summers at Roy Carpenter’s beach for 20 years and a few winters in Vero Beach, Florida. She loved reading, planting her summer garden, and was happiest cooking and sharing stories with family and friends. 

Her Mass of Christian Burial to which relatives and friends are invited, will be held on Monday, December 30th at 11 a.m. at SS. John & Paul Church, 341 South Main St., Coventry, followed by burial at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS are Sunday, December 29th from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston.
