Patricia A. "Nanny" Burbee

 Patricia A. “Nanny” Burbee, 78 of Cranston passed away peacefully on Wednesday January 15, 2025, with her daughter Tara by her side. Born in West Orange, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Patsy and Ann (Scarpa) Notte. 

She is survived by her children Wendy Greer and her late husband Joseph, Charles Bond, Jr, and his wife Kathie, and Tara-Lynn Zeigler-Ereio and her wife Brittany. She was the loving grandmother (whom everyone called Nanny) of Brayden Zeigler, Joey Greer, Meghan Greer, Hannah Greer, and Allison Bond. She was predeceased by a sister Rosalie Hynes and daughter, Lara Bond.

Nanny was a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) and lived her life helping others. She was Catholic, loved all animals, and was a wonderful cook. She loved black coffee and Diet Coke (always decaf!). She enjoyed listening to Patsy Cline and watching shows such as ‘Law and Order’ or ‘NCIS’. She was obsessed with her grandchildren and was always willing lend a hand whenever needed. 

Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday January 22, 2025, at 10:00am at Immaculate Conception Church, 237 Garden Hills Dr., Cranston. Everyone is asked to go directly to the church. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. Burial will be private.
