Pasquale "Pat" Ruggieri

In Loving Memory of Pasquale Ruggieri March 21, 1933 – January 3, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Pasquale Ruggieri a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, who departed this life peacefully on January 3, 2025, at the age of 91.

Born on March 21, 1933, Pasquale Ruggieri was a proud native of Cranston, Rhode Island. He graduated from Cranston High School in 1950 and earned his degree from Bryant College in August 1954. A dedicated patriot, he served honorably in the U.S. Army from 1954 to 1956, stationed in Germany.

On November 11, 1957, he married the love of his life, Elaine G. Maggiacomo, and together they built a beautiful life, marked by love, laughter, and enduring commitment. Their union spanned an incredible 67 years.

Pasquale was an entrepreneur at heart, shaping Rhode Island’s business landscape with ventures including Avtec and The Braggin’ Wagon. Later in life, he found fulfillment in a 20-year career in small cap IPO investment banking, where his sharp mind and dedication to excellence left a lasting impact.

An active and energetic man, Pasquale found joy in golf, tennis, and skiing. Beyond his achievements, he will be remembered most for his kind and gracious spirit. He was a true gentleman with a smile for everyone, he never forgot a name, and was known for his humility, generosity, and the ability to make everyone feel valued.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Elaine J. Ruggieri; his loving siblings, Philip M. Ruggieri and Raymond M. Ruggieri (Lucille); his cherished children, Philip Ruggieri (Claire), Robert Ruggieri (Shannon Fletcher), Julie R. Park, and Thomas Ruggieri (Julie Wilson); his adoring grandchildren, Ashley Stucenski (James), Amanda Hager (Brendan), Elizabeth Brennan (Gavin), Matthew Alario (Morgan), Dominic Ruggieri, Philip Park, Giulia Park, Josefina Ruggieri, Juliana Ruggieri, and Jacqueline Ruggieri; and his treasured great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Bowen, and Callie Stucenski; Raegan, Shane, Declan, and Noa Hager; Fredrick and Layla Brennan; and Charlotte and Maxwell Alario. He also leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews who held a special place in his heart.

Pasquale was a guiding light for his family and all who knew him. His legacy of love, kindness, and integrity will live on in the hearts of those he touched.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, January 9, 2025 at 11am in St. Veronica Chapel, 1035 Boston Neck Road, Narragansett.
