Pasquale "Pat" Rocchio

ROCCHIO, PASQUALE “PAT”  88, of Johnston, RI, passed away on Wednesday June 7, 2023 at Phillip Hulitar Inpatient Center of Providence RI surrounded by his loving family .  He was the beloved husband of 66 years to Lena (Spicuzza) Rocchio.  Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Michael and Mary (Padien) Rocchio.

Pat was the owner & operator of Rocchio Construction Company Incorporated for many years.  Previously working at Gilbane Construction Company. In his early years he enjoyed Stock Car Racing at Seekonk Speedway, as an owner of a race car.  In retirement years he was delighted to travel the world and go on several shopping trips with his wife.  He also enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Bonnet Shores Beach Club and morning coffee at Brewed Awakenings, Johnston, were his favorites.  Pat was extremely proud of his daughters and their accomplishments.

Besides his wife, he was the beloved father of Patricia Gervais (Arthur) of Scituate RI and Carol O’Donnell (Sal) of Narragansett RI. Pat was the loving grandfather of Jacqueline, Raymond, Andrea, Danielle and Stephen. Brother of Elizabeth Bryda and the late Michael & John Rocchio and Carol Antonelli.  He was the devoted Great Papa of seven, soon to be eight.

His funeral will be held Monday, June 12, 2023, at 9 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOMES & CREMATORY located at 1278 Park Ave., Cranston RI, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Saint Robert Bellarmine Church, 1804 Atwood Ave, Johnston RI. At 10 am.  The burial will be at Saint Ann Cemetery, Cranston RI, graveside.

Visiting hours are Sunday June 11, 2023, from 4-7 pm. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105, or Hope Hospice & Palliative Care Rhode Island 1085 North Main Street. Providence RI.
