Pasquale "Patsy" Laprocina 81, of Crescent Avenue, Cranston, died Tuesday, May 27, 2008 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital, North Providence. He was the husband of Evelina (Pazienza) Laprocina; they were married for fifty-three years. Born in Cranston he was a son of the late Nicola and Angelina (Corso) Laprocina. Mr. Laprocina was a mechanic for the former Leviton Manufacturing Company of Warwick for twenty-five years before retiring in 1981. He was a past president of Union Local #1274 IBEW in Warwick. He was a US Army veteran serving during WW II. Mr. Laprocina was a member of American Legion Post #20, Cranston and the VFW Nelson-Mack Post, Cranston. He was an avid Red Sox, Patriot's, Celtics, and Bruins Fan. Besides his wife he is survived by three brothers, Joseph of Cranston, Santo of Providence and Paul Laprocina of Warwick and four sisters Mary Josephine Saccoccia of Arizona, Philomena DiSimone of Cranston, Rose Manera of Johnston and Virginia Frazier of Warwick and the late Carlo, Frank, Julio Laprocina and Antonetta Paglia. Mr. Laprocina is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Friday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Ann's Church, Cranston Street, Cranston. Burial with Military Honors will be in Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
