PASQUALE IZZO

PASQUALE IZZO, 97, of Cedar St., Johnston, passed away Monday, October 5, 2009 at Cherry Hill Manor in Johnston. He was the beloved husband for 75 years of Lena (Parrillo) Izzo. Born in Johnston, he was the son of the late Salvatore and Madeline (Parrillo) Izzo.

Mr. Izzo was the founder of Izzo Scrap Metal in Johnston and was Past President of the Della DiFesa Society in Johnston.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his children, Pasco Izzo and his wife Catherine of Johnston, Richard Izzo and his wife Nancy of Cranston, Phyllis Corsi-Meloni and her husband Domenic of Johnston and Annmarie Carlone-Cherella of Johnston; nine grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and one great great-granddaughter. He was the brother of the late Jack Izzo, Carmine Izzo, Sophie Lonardo and Louise Rego.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Thursday at 10a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Grace Church, 15 George Waterman Rd., Johnston at 11a.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS THURSDAY MORNING 9-10 a.m.
