Pasco "Pat" Saccoccia

of Eden Crest Dr., Cranston, passed away Friday, August 20, 2021 at Kent Hospital in Warwick.  He was the beloved husband of the late Angeline L. (Pettine) Saccoccia.  Born in Cranston, he was the son of the late Antonio and Maria (Branca) Saccoccio.

Pat was a design engineer for the U.S. Government and worked at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center in Newport for many years before retiring.  He graduated from Providence College and was a WW-II Army Air Forces veteran.

He was the devoted father of Mary Ellen Wilson and her husband Christopher of North Kingstown, Lynda Soscia and her husband Anthony of East Greenwich and John “Jay” Saccoccia of Exeter; cherished grandfather of Jason and Rachel Saccoccia and Anthony and Christopher Soscia; dear brother of Vera Bouchard of CA and the late Viola Antoscia, Mafalda Miele, Phyllis Occhipinti, Lucy Kasica and Pauline, Arthur, Flore, Anthony and Elmer Saccoccio.

His funeral will be held on Tuesday, August 24th at 10 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary’s Church, 1525 Cranston St., Cranston at 11 a.m.  Burial with military honors will be at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.  VISITING HOURS are TUESDAY MORNING from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.
