PALMA M. (SIMEONE) SALVATORE

87, of Cranston, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 15, 2010 at Roger Williams Medical Center, Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Lawrence K. Salvatore. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Amelia (DeClemente) Simeone. Palma worked as a seamstress for the former Bonnie Blouse Company of Pawtucket for twenty-two years. She was also employed by the State of Rhode Island, School Lunch Program for ten years before retiring in 1993. Palma was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union, auxiliary member of the Legion of Mary and a member of the Catholic Women's League both of Holy Ghost Church, Providence.

She is survived by her loving daughter Michele S. Morello and her husband Richard of Cranston. Palma was the cherished grandmother of Nicolas and Alexander Morello. She was the devoted sister of Ralph Simeone of West Warwick, Mary Simeone, and Julia DiIorio, both of Cranston.
