OSCAR P. MADRIAGA

Oscar P. Madriaga 66, of Providence passed away Saturday July 25, 2009 at RI Hospital in Providence. He was the beloved husband of Joan (Rappa) Madriaga. Born in the Philippines he was the son of the late Epifanio and Soledad (Pagorogon) Madriaga. Mr. Madriaga was a Retired Foreman at the former Illumations Concepts & Engineering. Besides his wife , he is survived by his loving children, Osbert of Cranston, Oscar Jr. of Warwick, Osmond of Providence,Orlan of Wawick,Oliver of Cranston,Ogie and Diana Madriaga of Providence, his step children, David Rappa of CT,Laurinda Cruz of Warwick, Joseph Goulet and Susan Jorge both of Cranston, Stephen Goulet of Providence and Robert Goulet of MA. He was also the cherished grandfather of 17, and brother of Lety, Carlito and Edna Madriaga all of NY. His funeral will be held on Thursday at 9 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave. Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in the Assumption Church, Potters Ave. Providence. VISITING HOURS: Wednesday 5-8 pm. His burial will be private, and kindly omit flowers.
