OSCAR W. KAFKA

98, of Emilia St., Johnston and formerly of Providence passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2011 at home. He was the husband of the late Jennie ( Branco ) Kafka. He was born in Providence a son of the late Isadore and Anna ( Schultz ) Kafka. Mr. Kafka was the owner and operator of the former Niantic Auto Painting & Sales of Cranston for more than 50 years until his retirement. He was an accomplished musician and had volunteered at the Cranston Senior Center for many years and was an avid bowler, enjoyed fishing and his greatest passion was gardening. He is survived by his daughters, Janet Tutalo-Weber of Boca Raton, Fl and Judy Rossi of Sterling, CT. He was the father of the late Joyce Aitchison and Joan O'Connell. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Frances Chin and Emil Kafka. His funeral services will be private.
