Orlando M. “Sunny” Martino, Jr.

Orlando M. “Sunny” Martino, Jr.
Was 49 years old from Providence who was originally born in New York, NY making him a huge fan of the New York Yankees. If you knew Sunny , you’d know not to be a Boston red sox fan in his presence, otherwise you’d never hear the end of it. Sunny was the family man, if you needed anything, or even had something you needed to get off your chest ‘ Sunny was there to debate with you until he won. He enjoyed gathering together to do family activities , and absolutely adored spending lots of time with his kids Elijah Martino and Janaiza Martino, nieces, nephews, and his cherished first granddaughter Amorra. Besides the children he loved, Sunny’s memories will also stay alive with the love from his dear siblings : Angel Rivera , Ivan Melendez, and Steven Melendez. As well as his loving mother Evelyn Melendez, and his birth parents Idalia Rivera and Orlando M Martino. Orlando (Sunny) will be dearly missed by the people closest to him. May his soul live on forever and carry his family through this difficult time.

His funeral service will be held on Monday at 10am  in the Nardolillo Funeral Home &Crematory 1278 Park Ave Cranston, followed by burial in North Burial Ground, Providence.  VISITING HOURS: Sunday 4-8 pm.
