OLIVIA "EVA" (DI PRETE) GROSSI

100, of Eva Lane Cranston formerly of Governor St. passed away Wednesday June 10, 2009 at Cra-Mar Meadows Nursing Home, Cranston. She was the wife of 72 years to the late Loreto "Larry" Grossi. A lifelong Cranston resident she was the daughter of the late Archangelo and Angela DiPrete. Eva had a love for cooking and through her teachings passed it on to her family and friends that she loved so dearly. She is survived by one son Wilfred Grossi of North Scituate, three daughters Helen DeCesare and Linda Hughes both of Cranston and Marjorie Spaziano of West Warwick, seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren that provided her with great joy, her care giver Nancy Townsend , her friend Lee DeFrancisco and was the sister of the late Antonio DiPrete, Carmella DiTraglia and Mary Moretti. Her funeral will be held Monday at 10am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave. Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church, Cranston at 11am. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Sunday 5-8pm.
