NUNZIO A. "LUCKY" LOSSINI
82, of Johnston, passed away on Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital, North Providence. He was the beloved and devoted husband of fifty-four years to Rose (Carvoski) Lossini. Born on Federal Hill in Providence, he was a son of the late Luigi and Angelina (Lombardi) Lossini. "Lucky" was a self-employed architect and general contractor for sixty-five years before retiring in 2008.
Besides his wife he is survived by his loving children Anthony J. Lossini, Bruce H. Lossini and his wife Roberta, Cheryl R. Manzi and her husband Paul, and Darleen A. Rampini, all of Johnston. He was the cherished grandfather "Papa" of Anthony John, Jr., Jamie Marie, Leeann Marie, Paul II, Tiffany Rose, Myles, Chadd, Blake and Rachaell Rose, and great-granddaughter of Hailee. He was the brother of Elio "Duke" Lossini of Johnston, Yolanda Comeau of FL, and the late Marie "Maggie" Gasparri.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace Church, George Waterman Road, Johnston. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS FRIDAY 4-8 p.m.
