NORMA B. (VILLARI) THURBER

82, of Dale Ave., Johnston, passed away on Friday July 22, 2011 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Johnston, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Lena (Vacca) Villari.

Norma was a secretary for the Town of Johnston Highway Department for 24 years before retiring.

She was the devoted mother of Denis M. Fetta of Crystal Beach, FL and Charlene A. Thurber of Johnston; loving grandmother of Michael and Richard Thompson, both of Johnston; loving great-grandmother of Deana and dear sister of Jean Tudino of Johnston and the late Thomas and Joseph Villari.

Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Cross Church, 645 Hartford Ave., Providence at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be at St. Ann Cemetery in Cranston.
