NORMA T. (SCOPELLITI) SMITH

77, of Cranston, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, May 15, 2011 at Kent Hospital, Warwick. She was the beloved wife of the late Arthur Smith. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Pasco and Michelina (Gaeta) Scopelliti.

Norma leaves behind her loving daughters, Patricia Ruggiero and her husband James of Cranston, Linda Marsella and her husband Kenneth of East Greenwich, and Sandra Sylvestre and her husband Brian of Cranston. She was the cherished grandmother of James and his wife Diana, Joseph, Danielle, Mark, Ashleigh, and Gregory. Norma was the sister of Rose Knapp of Warwick and the late Etta Sewell.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, 1525 Cranston Street, Cranston.
