77, of Cranston, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 20, 2010 at home. She was the beloved wife of Salvatore M. Loporchio. They were married for fifty-seven years. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Lawrence and Theresa (Capizano) Grieco. Mrs. Loporchio was a jewelry worker and was employed by various companies in the Providence area. Norma enjoyed cooking, crafts, dancing and spending time with family and friends. Besides her husband she was the devoted mother of Dr. Salvatore J. Loporchio and his fiancAC.e Robie McFerran and Steve Anthony Loporchio and his wife Susan, all of North Providence. Norma was the cherished grandmother of Dean, Michael and Lindsay Loporchio and Briana and Danielle Manzo. She was the sister of Lillian Lanzieri of Providence, Pasquale Grieco and his wife Anna of Cranston, Lawrence Grieco and his wife Mary of Johnston, and the late Etta Palma, Rose Renza, Lucy Kamis, Edith Prignano and Anna Rogers. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, Cranston Street, Cranston. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston.
