74, of Johnston, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 24, 2015, at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. She was the beloved wife of fifty-five years to Michael DiSandro, Jr. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Nicola and Lena (Vallese) Colagiavanni. Nicolina along with her husband were the former owners of M. DiSandro & Sons Masonry Inc. of Cranston for twenty years before her retirement. She was a member of Kingsway Country Club, Lake Suzy, FL. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Besides her husband she is survived by her loving children, Michael DiSandro, III and his wife Mary of Rumford, Robert Michael DiSandro and his wife Kara of Providence, and Karen Elizabeth DiSandro and her husband Stephen Ciccilline of Providence. She was the cherished grandmother of Sarah, Elizabeth, Warren, Nathan, Grayson, and Rose. She was the sister of Anna Tipton of Narragansett, Adeline Zanni of Johnston, Rocco Colagiavanni of Smithfield, Gennaro Colagiavanni of Johnston, Jerry Colagiavanni of Port Charlotte, FL, and the late Lucy D'Errico, Vicky Cini, Margaret Masi, and Marie Ferrara. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Monday at 8:45 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 1804 Atwood Avenue, Johnston. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Sunday 2-6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Rhode Island Blood Center, 405 Promenade Street, Providence, RI 02908.
