Nicholas Ernest Marinelli

Nicholas Ernest Marinelli, 77, of Smithfield, passed away on March 11, 2023, in the Miriam Hospital after a long illness. Nick was born on March 31, 1945, in Providence and grew up in the Mount Pleasant Section of Providence where he lived for most of his life. He was an honor student and excellent pianist. He was the devoted son of the late Mary and Nicola Marinelli, the loving brother of Mary Gizzarelli (Robert) of East Greenwich and proud uncle of Claudia Gizzarelli of East Greenwich. A private funeral was held on Thursday, March 16, 2023, from the Nardolillo Funeral Home with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Gregory the Great Church in Warwick, followed by entombment in Our Risen Christ Garden Mausoleum at St. Ann's Cemetery in Cranston.
