Nicandro E. " Papa " Cicerone, 80, of Phenix Ave., Cranston passed away on Thursday, April 17, 2008 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Isabella ( DePalma ) Cicerone for 55 years. He was born in Providence the son of the late Luigi and Rachaela ( Oricelli ) Cicerone. Mr. Cicerone was the CO-FOUNDER OF SUPERIOR BAKERY which he operated for 40 years, retiring in 1988. He was a WW II Army Veteran. Beside his wife he is survived by his daughters, Marie, Deborah, Sharon, Anita, Judy and Gina all of Cranston. He also is survived by 9 grandchildren. He was the brother of Gilda Jeffrey, Alfonso and Oreste Cicerone all of Cranston and the late Mark, Louis, Elizabeth and Lena Cicerone. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday at 10:am in St. Mary's Church, Cranston St., Cranston. Visiting hours and Burial will be private.
