Natalino "Lino" Mizzoni, Jr.

Natalino “Lino” Mizzoni, Jr., 79, of Cranston, passed away Friday, November 22, 2024. Lino is survived by his beloved wife Catherine R. “Cathy” (Cianci) Mizzoni with whom he shared a loving marriage for 57 wonderful years. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Natalino and Lisa (Vecchio) Mizzoni.

Lino worked at Electric Boat for 32 years as a Surveyor in the Optical Tool Department. His picture as a surveyor was hung on the special hall wall at Electric Boat called Mahogany Road.

Lino and Cathy lived in Scituate for many years. There he raised many different species of birds’ pheasant, quail, silkie chickens, pigeons and turtles. He won many awards with his chicks and pigeons. Lino and Cathy traveled to 36 states and Canada with the companionship of others that shared his love of birds with the APWS Club.

He had many friends, many who were lifelong friends that enjoyed his company. Everyone who met him, thought him to be a “Wonderful Guy”.

He will be deeply missed by family and friends. He will always be in our hearts.

Besides his wife Cathy, Lino was the devoted father of Marisa A. Miniscalco and her husband Anthony of Coventry and Marco Mizzoni of Foster; loving grandfather of Natalino Miniscalco, Christopher Mizzoni and Nicholas Mizzoni; and dear brother of Rosanne Mizzoni-Campbell and her husband Robert and Lisa Regine all of Charlestown.

His funeral will be held on Friday November 29th at 10 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 2068 Cranston St., Cranston at 11 a.m. Burial will be at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS are FRIDAY MORNING from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.
