NANCY LUCY VOLPE

88, of Cranston passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2009 at Roger Williams Medical Center in Providence. Nancy was the wife of the late Joseph Volpe, Sr. Born in Providence she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Caroline (Bosco) Cardillo. She is survived by 2 sons Joseph Volpe, Jr. and John Volpe and his wife Elaine of West Warwick, 2 half daughters Vivian Tamborinni and JoAnne Shattle, 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. She was the sister of John Cardillo, Guido Cardillo, Lucy Manzi, Ann Lisa and the late Etta Laurenzo and Mary Altieri. Nancy also leaves behind her close friend Jospeh A. Palumbo. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday at 10am in St. Mary's Church, Cranston. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. Burial will take place in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston.
