Nancy (Natalia) Prestage

95, of Cranston passed away peacefully on June 5, 2020, surrounded by her loving family.  She was the beloved wife of the late Norman A. Prestage, Sr. for more than sixty-five years. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Giacinto and Sabatina (Fascio) Natalia.  She was the sister of the late Antonio, John, and Carmella Natalia.
She is survived by her devoted son, Norman A. Prestage, Jr. and his wife Beverly of Cranston; three grandchildren: Norman III, Kimberly and Mark; eight great-grandchildren: Claire, Erin, Matthew, Anne, Caitlin, Brendan, Kyle and Emma.   She also opened her home and her heart as a foster mother to more than twenty-five Rhode Island children in the 1970s and 1980s and served as a foster grandparent for the Coventry School System in the 1990s. She loved to cook and took great joy in sharing her delicious meals with everyone who entered her home.
Her funeral and burial will be private. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mark Church, 9 Garden Court, Cranston, RI 02920.
