Monica A. (Emmerich) Motta

Monica A. (Emmerich) Motta, 58, of Fort Myers, Florida passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2019 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of 36 years to Bernard A. Motta Jr. Born in New Rochelle, New York she was a daughter of the late Fred and Helen (Linz) Emmerich. Monica moved to Saunderstown, RI in 1980 and settled into Forth Myers 2 years ago. She was a partner with Blum Shapiro an accounting firm of Cranston. Monica was the beloved mother of Christopher Motta of Cary, North Carolina and Gregory Motta of Saunderstown. Sister of Ruth Dvorscak of Bluffton, South Carolina, Fred Emmerich of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Gary Emmerich of Healdsburg, California. Monica’s funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 31, 2019 at 11:00am in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 1111 Boston Neck Road, (Rt. 1A) Narragansett. Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2019 from 4:00 to 7:00pm.  In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to the Lustgarten Foundation , 415 Crossways Park Drive, Suite D, Woodbury, NY 11797.
