MODESTA " ESTA" MARZILLI

Modesta "Esta" Marzilli 90, of Blackberry Knoll Way, Johnston, died Saturday, September 15, 2007 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital in North Providence. She was the wife of the late Luigi Marzilli. Born in Sant' Apollinare, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Giuseppe and Giuseppa (Pacitto) Mignanelli. She worked for the former Imperial Knife Company for 25 years, retiring in 1979. She is survived by her children, Dr. Luigi Marzilli of Baton Rouge, LA, Ann Cherella of Barneget, NJ, and Jean Iacone of Johnston; her grandchildren, Jason, Matthew, and Michael Iacone, Bill, Michael, Leann, and Laura Cherella, and Alan, Veronica and Alisa Marzilli; thirteen great-grandchildren; and her sister Amelia Bucci of Johnston. Her funeral will be held on Thursday at 9 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Ghost Church, Knight St., Providence at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery Cranston.
