MINAS KHATCHATRIAN

MINAS KHATCHATRIAN, 73, of Plantation Dr., Cranston, passed away Monday, June 21, 2010 surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband for 50 years of Mari (Mikaelian) Khatchatrian. Born in Athens, Greece, he was the son of the late Andranik and Azadouhi (Ebroyan) Khatchatrian.

Minas was the founder and former owner of Maria's Pizza on Pontiac Ave. in Cranston for 30 years before retiring.

Besides his wife, he was the devoted father of Alice Paloulian and her husband Philip of Cranston and Andranik "Andy" Khatchatrian and his wife Jennifer of Chicago, IL; loving grandfather of Violet and Chaz Khatchatrian; and dear brother of Martin and Rafik Khatchatrian, Hripsik Kazanjian, Silvia Steppas and Giorge Ebroyan.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in Sts. Sahag & Mesrob Armenian Apostolic Church, Providence, and may call at the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Wednesday 5-8 p.m.

Interment will be at North Burial Ground Cemetery in Providence.
