MILDRED "MILLIE" TOMASSO

88, of Providence passed away Thursday, April 1, 2010 at Heritage Hills Nursing Center, Smithfield, RI. She was the wife of the late Albert Tomasso of Providence. Born in Cranston, she was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Theresa (DiStefano) Ferraro and the step-daughter of the late Luciano Imondi. Millie was the sister of the late Virginia Vallante, Anthony Ferraro and the step-sister to the late Vera Salvatore. Millie was also the sister in law of Stella Tomasso of Johnston. She is survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral will be held from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave. Cranston on Wednesday at 10:15 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. in St. Thomas Church, Providence. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Tuesday 4-7pm.
