Mildred (Marcotrigiano) DiSanto

Mildred (Marcotrigiano) DiSanto, 92 of Warwick passed away peacefully Wednesday September 28, 2022, at Kent Hospital with her family by her side.  Born in Providence she was the daughter of the late Alphonse and Carmella (Zacardo) Marcotrigiano. She was the beloved wife of the late Dante V. DiSanto for 61 years before his passing in 2014.

Mildred had worked for the Sardelli Jewelry Company for many years prior to her retirement. The light of her life would by far be her family, there wasn’t a family gathering that she would miss. Whether it was her immediate family or her extended family, they were her biggest blessing. Every weekend in her younger years was filled with family parties or dinners.   She had an active social life, her standing Sunday outings with one of her daughters were the highlight of her week. They would enjoy time at the beach, on the boat, maybe lunch out or whatever they felt like, it was time together. Mildred’s dear friend Carmen was a companion and friend, who was near and dear to her heart.

She was loving mother of her three daughters Shelia Quinn and her companion Andy Larkowich of North Providence, Brenda  Forsyth and her husband John of Cranston, and Lori Rahill and her husband Bob of Charlestown. Mildred was the cherished grandmother of Holly-Anne Quinn, Jeffrey Forsyth, Julie-Anne Quinn, Andrew Forsyth, Ryan Gardiner, and Bradford Gardiner.  She was the loving sister of Jenny George and the late Rose Salvato, Anna Corsa, Phyllis Schiavulli, Dorothy Del Toro, Mary Sheldon, Ruby Ferri, and Gaitano Marcotrigiano.

Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday October 3, 2022, at 10:00 am in St. Timothy Church, 1799 Warwick Avenue, Warwick. Everyone is asked to go directly to church. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery. VISTING HOURS will be held on Sunday from 4:00-7:00pm, at the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston.
