MICHELENA "MICKEY" MANCINI
93, of Cranston, passed away Sunday, January 1, 2012 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital in North Providence. Born in Cranston, she was the beloved daughter of the late Giovanni and Antonia (Vacca) Mancini.
A graduate of Bryant & Stratton College, Mickey was a disbursing officer at the Newport Naval Base for many years before retiring.
She was the loving sister of the late Filomena "Fannie" Mancini and Mary C. Mancini and is survived by many cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday at 10 a.m. in St. Rocco's Church, 927 Atwood Ave., Johnston. Interment will be private.
