MICHAEL P. SQUIZZERO

83, of Cranston passed away on Friday June 25, 2010 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Joanna (Giglietti) Squizzero. They were married 59 years. Michael was born in Cranston, a son of the late Antonio and Frances (Squizzero) Squizzero. Mr. Squizzero worked as a master plumber for the family business, A. Squizzero and Sons with his father, brothers and son until his retirement. He was a former 4th degree member of the Cranston Council Knights of Columbus, and an avid golfer. Michael was also a WW II Navy Seabee veteran serving in Okinawa. Besides his wife he is survived by his loving children, Joan Pelino, Michael Squizzero and David Squizzero all of Cranston, and Steven Squizzero of North Scituate. He was cherished grandfather of 6, great grandfather of 6 , and was the brother of Anthony Squizzero of Johnston, Robert , William and Richard Squizzero ,Doris Pallotta, Corrine Ruscito, Dolores Grande all of Cranston. Michael was also the loving father of the late Baby David Squizzero and brother of the late Alba Caporicci. His funeral will be held on Tuesday at 9 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave. Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Mary's Church, Cranston St. Cranston. Burial with military honors will take place in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Monday 5-8 pm.
