MICHAEL RUGGIERI

Michael Ruggieri 92, of Batcheller Ave. Cranston passed away Sunday August 10, 2008 at home. He was the beloved husband of Anne B. (Barlow) Ruggieri and the late Antonetta (Storti) Ruggieri. He was born in Providence a son of the late Bambino and Lucy (Ruggieri) Ruggieri. Michael was a retired engineer for Quonset Point and was a WW II Army veteran. Besides his wife Anne he is survived by his loving children, Ann Barbieri and Michael J. Ruggieri both of Cranston, his siblings, Guido Ruggieri of Warwick, Peter Ruggieri of Johnston, Rudolph Ruggieri of Cranston, Mary Zuena of Cranston, Rose Broski of Cranston, Jennie Moorehead TX, Ann Manni, Rita Palombo and Dolores O'Brien all of Cranston. He was the grandfather of 5 and great grandfather of 6, and was the brother of the late Pasco "Pat" Ruggieri. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday at 10 am in St. Mary's Church Cranston St. Cranston. Burial with Military Honors will be in St. Ann's Cemetery Cranston. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
