MICHAEL PICOZZI

MICHAEL PICOZZI, 56, of Hope Furnace Rd, Coventry, passed away Thursday, July 31, 2008 at RI Hospital in Providence. He was the beloved husband for 25 years of Deborah M. (Lanni) Picozzi.
Born in Providence, the devoted son of Michele Picozzi of Somerset, MA and the late Betty (Palermo) Croce, he lived in Cranston moving to Coventry in 1965.
Big Mike was the owner of ABC Concrete Form Co. in Coventry for the past 34 years.
Besides being a devoted husband to his wife and loving son to his father, he was the ever supporting and loving father of Michele D. Picozzi, Michelle L. Picozzi, Domenico A. Picozzi and Lauren A. "Annie" Picozzi all of Coventry; loving papa to Mariana D. Picozzi and Michele C. Picozzi; devoted son-in-law of Carmela Lanni of Warwick; and loyal brother of Andrea M. Picozzi of Coventry. He was also the brother of Kevin D. Croce of North Providence.
Michael was such a dedicated and loyal person to everyone he touched. His work was so important to him. His first love was to his wife and children, and his two grandchildren. He was truly a family man. He had many hobbies, his love for Vermont, snowmobiling, hunting, and countless years of going up north. He enjoyed Wickford Shipyard and the many friends he met there. Mike may have had four children but was the father to many others. He will be forever missed and never replaced.
