MICHAEL A. PERUGINO, SR

79, of Council Rock Road, Cranston, died Thursday, July 2, 2009 at Kent County Hospital, Warwick. He was the husband of Iva E. (Bourque) Perugino. They were married for fifty-four years. Born in Johnston; he was a son of the late Antonio and Maria (Tartaglia) Perugino. Mr. Perugino was a vegetable grower for over seventy years. He was the former director of the Governor Dyer Farmers Market in Providence. Mr. Perugino was a loving husband, father and grandfather and enjoyed spending time with his family. Besides his wife he is survived by his children; Diane L. Perugino of Cranston, Michael A. Perugino, Jr. and his wife Tammy of Johnston and Sandra B. Perugino of Cranston. He was the father of the late George M. Perugino. Mr. Perugino was the grandfather of Michael Anthony III, Dillon James and Brandon Robert Perugino. He was the brother of the late George A. Perugino. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Apostles Church, 800 Pippin Orchard Road, Cranston. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston.VISITING HOURS Monday 4-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Cranston Arc, PO Box 20130, Cranston, RI 02920.
