MICHAEL L. PARRISH

56, of West Warwick, passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2012, at Kent County Hospital, Warwick. Born in Hartford, CT, he was a beloved son of Philomena (Corvese) Parrish of Port St. Lucie, FL and the late E. Lloyd Parrish. Michael was a CNC laser operator and was in charge of training new employees for Tegra-Medical Laser Company, Franklin, MA for fifteen years. He had his own band "Nasty Habits" and was the lead bass player and singer for twenty-eight years. Michael and the band played various venues around New England. Most recently he and his band signed a Hollywood movie contract for the soundtrack for the upcoming movie "Infected".

Michael is survived by his loving daughter Angela L. Parrish of Atlanta, GA. He was the devoted brother of Steve L. Parrish of Green Cove Springs, FL, Peggy Lee Parrish of West Warwick, Sindi L. Garns of Port St. Lucie, FL, and Elton L. Parrish of Jefferson, MD, and the late Marcia Louise Parrish. Michael was a loving uncle to several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service on Sunday at 5:00 p.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston. Interment will be private. VISITING HOURS Sunday afternoon 2-5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Attention: Donor Services, PO Box 650309, Dallas, TX 75265-0309.
