Michael Nardone 87, of Imperial Avenue, Cranston, died Saturday, June 14, 2008 at home. He was the beloved husband of Gladys A. (Riccio) Nardone. They were married for sixty-two years. Born in San Giorgio, Italy, he was a son of the late Emilio and Maria Grazia (Valente) Nardone. Mr. Nardone was a building contractor and co-owner of the former Imperial Builders for forty years before retiring in 1986. He was a US Army Air Force veteran serving during WW II. Mr. Nardone enjoyed spending his summers at Strawberry Park Campground in Preston, CT. Besides his wife he is survived by his loving daughter Arlene M. Fish and her husband Stephen of Cranston. Mr. Nardone was the cherished grandfather of Stephen E. Fish of Cranston. He was the brother of Charles John Nardone, Anthony Nardone both of Cranston and Mary Pastore of Narragansett. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Wednesday at 8:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 a.m. in St. Rocco's Church, Atwood Avenue, Johnston.
