Michael J. Mitchell

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Michael Mitchell, a cherished son, brother, partner, uncle, and friend. A graduate of Cranston West High School and a resident of Dayville, Connecticut, Michael was known for his compassion, generosity, and unwavering dedication to helping others.

Michael was the beloved son of George and Anne Marie Mitchell. He is survived by his mother, Anne Marie, devoted partner, Margret Steele, sister-in-law Laurie, and brother, David. He also leaves behind his nieces, Shannon, Alisha, and Sarah, and nephews, Alexander, Joseph, and Elijah.

Michael's life was marked by his commitment to uplift others. Through his sponsorship and testimony, he made a lasting impact on countless others.

The family would like to express their deep gratitude to the members of the Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 51 Union for their swift response and unwavering support during Michael's brain bleed/AVM. Their brotherly care will forever be appreciated.

They also extend their heartfelt thanks to the doctors, nurses, and RTs at Rhode Island & Kent Hospitals, and West View Nursing Home for always treating Michael with such dignity and respect.
