MICHAEL J. MICHAEL
MICHAEL J. MICHAEL, 79, of Wabun Ave., Providence, passed away Thursday, March 20, 2008 surrounded by his family at Miriam Hospital. He was the beloved husband for 56 years of Anna T. (Roukous) Michael.
Born in Providence, a son of the late Assad and Dorothy (Isaac) Michael, he was a lifelong Providence resident.
Mr. Michael was a Scientific Glass Blower in the Physics Department at Brown University for 35 years. He was a member of St. George Maronite Church, and an active member of his community.
Besides his wife, he was the loving father of Michael J. Michael, Jr. and his wife Mary of Cranston, Stephen J. Michael and his wife Jackie of Providence, Brenda A. Travers and her husband William of Johnston, Bonnie A. Del Signore and her husband Bruce of Hollis, NH, and Cherie A. Osman and her husband Ali of Providence; loving grandfather of Cassandra and Andrew Michael, Kali and Philip Del Signore and Trevor Osman; dear brother of Madeline Badway of North Providence, Vincent Michael of Providence and the late Richard and Anthony Michael; and loving uncle of many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Funeral from the Nardolillo Funeral Home, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, Tuesday at 9:00 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Raymond's Church, 1240 North Main St., Providence at 11:00 a.m.
Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
VISITING HOURS MONDAY 4-8 p.m.
